The year is 2070. Hajime, a curious and outgoing second-year class rep at Misumaru Middle School, leads what he thinks is a quiet and ordinary life in the town of Tenmo. But, one day, two events turn all of his conceptions about the world around him upside down: the appearance of a giant white mecha fighting off an apparent alien invasion, and the arrival of Muryou Subaru, a transfer student with a predilection for old-fashioned (for the time) school dress and remarkable talents for combat and use of telekinetic power. Note: "Zoku" in the title is something of a pun, as it sounds like the Japanese word for "continuation", but is written with a character normally used to indicate slang terms in a dictionary.

Based on a shounen manga by Koji Kumeta serialised in Shounen Magazine.

Itoshiki Nozomu is the world's most negative person. To his way of thinking, there is no hope or meaning in this existence. Even the three kanji of his name become the two-kanji word zetsubou, "despair", when compressed. What an ironic twist of fate, then, that he becomes teacher to a class containing his precise opposite, the invincibly positive-minded Fuura Kafuka.

Note: The DVD content differs from the DTV content in terms of censoring. DTV content has black circles and images of Maeda's face(an assistant to Koji Kumeta, the original manga creator) covering areas that could otherwise be revealing. The DVD version has these areas revealed, however, you still won't see any nipples.

Petit Eva: Evangelion@School is a super-deformed-style parody series based on Neon Genesis Evangelion. First published in Shounen Ace, it was adapted into a series of 3D CGI OVAs in 2007. There is no dialogue in the series.

The series is a parody of Neon Genesis Evangelion, in which the entire cast of the original series are now everyday students going to junior high school together at Tokyo-3. The series features three "Rei sisters": one is a child younger than the rest based on "Rei 1", the second is based on "Rei 2" (the Rei seen for most of the normal series), and the third Rei is actually based on the hyperactive and klutzy "Alternate Rei" seen in the alternate-reality dream sequence from the final episode of the original series). Further, Evangelion Unit 01 itself is one of their classmates, but this time as a human-sized robot who acts as something of a class bully. Even the Jet Alone robot is re-imagined as a character on the series.

Toradora!'s story begins with the male protagonist Ryuuji Takasu who is frustrated at trying to improve his look as he enters his second year of high school. Despite his gentle personality, he has a natural outer-appearance which makes him look like an intimidating delinquent so he is utterly hopeless about his chances of getting a girlfriend anytime soon, and does not have many close friends either. After being greeted by his hungover mother in the morning, Ryuuji goes to school and finds out that he is in the same class as his best friend Yuusaku Kitamura. But what makes him extremely happy is that he gets to be in the same class as his crush Minori Kushieda. However, it is then that he unexpectedly knocks into "the creature ranked most dangerous in the school" — Taiga Aisaka —, who goes by the nickname "Palmtop Tiger" and who just happens to also be in his class.

Taiga has a negative attitude towards others and will not hesitate to snap at people. After a series of misunderstandings between Ryuuji and Taiga, Ryuuji is taken in by Taiga as her personal servant. Taiga had moved out to live on her own due to family issues and isn't able to do any housechores. After discovering the state of her apartment Ryuuji, who has a real talent at domestic chores, decided to do all of her housechores. Taiga spends a lot of her time over at his house, so much so that she could almost be considered a member of his family. Since Ryuuji spends a lot of time with Taiga, he is opened up to her world and to a side of her that most people do not see. The two also attempt to help each other in order to improve their relationship with their crush (Taiga has a crush on Ryuuji's best friend, Yuusaku, and Ryuuji has a crush on Taiga's best friend, Minori). Unknown to them, however, people they know from school start to become curious about their strange relationship together and rumors begin to spread about them.
