This is not so much a story as it is a slice of life. Or rather, it is a look into portions of the life of a girl named Alpha, together with the people around her. Alpha runs a little cafe on the outskirts of Yokohama. Metal Heart

Gedo Senki - Tales from Earthsea

Studio Ghibli`s latest full-length animated feature directed by Hayao Miyazaki`s son Goro Miyazaki! The world is gripped in terror as plants are drying up, livestock are going to waste, and the human brain begins to corrupt. Natural disasters are punishing the kingdom of Enlad and the light which should be bringing balance to the world is weakening. Meanwhile the sacred sword has been stolen from the king by an assassin. On the verge of passing out, the king mutters the name "Arren" . . . the name of his only son who is on a journey to find the source of the destruction in the world. When Arren comes across the powerfull sorcerer Haitaka, a man formerly known as Ged who is the root of the terror, the balance of the world begins to crumble and Arren`s life itself is on the edge. However, when Haitaka witnesses Arren`s inability to overcome the darkenss in his own heart, Haitaka sees elements of himself in the young prince. He spares his life and the two venture out into the world.

Ah My Goddess Manga

While staying alone in his dormitory, college student Keiichi Morisato was trying to call some restaurants for delivery when he accidentally called the Goddess Help Line. Suddenly, the mirror near him glowed and a beautiful goddess named Belldandy appeared out of it. She granted Keiichi his one wish for her to be his girlfriend forever. After being kicked out of the dorm, Keiichi and Belldandy now live in an old temple with her sisters Urd and Skuld.

Please note that this manga started in the 1980s and is still going today, thus the art style changes as the artist improves and as times change. The beginning chapters use a 80's fashion style; big hair, leather clothes etc while the newer ones are more like the anime and more modern in style. Please bear that in mind if you read this.

In what seems ordinary belies occurances of unexplainable circumstances, and underlying these special occurances is the presence of one's dreams or "yume". In this world, the said "yume" is composed of strong emotions... Simultaneously, these emotions will break free from one's mind and transcend the borders to reality. Once the fine line between dream and reality is crossed, these "yume" may turn into nightmares and invite disasters. Misako Mishima and Touko Mishima are amateur dream-users or "yume tsukai(s)". They possess special powers to exterminate and control these nightmares. They will then search for the source of the "yume" and return it to the rightful owner.
